Home treatments for dry cough relief

Ginger and salt

If excessive coughing is a problem, sprinkle a pinch of salt on a small piece of ginger and place it between your teeth. This allows ginger juice to enter the throat slowly. Take the juice of a piece of ginger for another 5 to 8 minutes.

Eating a mixture of honey and black pepper is also effective for treating cough. For this, grind four to five peppercorns into a powder. Combine honey and black pepper powder and use as a sauce.

Honey and Ginger

Both ginger and honey help alleviate dry cough symptoms. Consume licorice mixed with honey and ginger. Each is useful for boosting immunity. Eat one teaspoon of ginger juice in honey. To prevent the throat from drying out, maintain a little licorice stick in the mouth. It alleviates throat pain.

Honey in hot water

For cough treatment, combine honey with half a glass of lukewarm water and consume. Daily honey consumption helps alleviation from dry cough. Using lukewarm water combined with honey at night relieves pain.
